Hi- with the most recent update to firefox mobile for iOS- I have lost the ability to quickly toggle between search engines. I prefer to use duck duck go but sometimes the results just aren’t what I need and I have to go to google. But now I am not seeing that option. Did it go away? Can I give feedback that this is much more clunky and likely to force me to default to google instead??? Thank you!

Today i got a popup about needing to enter a password for toolbox helper to be downloaded. I dont have a password set up (or even a log in for Firefox). So, I was unable to launch Firefox. I downloaded the latest version of Firefox. I have lost all bookmarks/history/passwords etc.
I run Mac os 15.5. Is there any way to retrieve this info?
Thank you

My iOS app just updated with a new ui for the mobile settings menu. It'll take me some time to get used to this, but I'm not opposed to it. However, it also changed the order of the icons in the bottom toolbar so that tabs view is the fifth icon rather than the fourth, and the menu icon has been switched vice-versa. This has caused my muscle memory of using the app to repeatedly tap the wrong icon, which has turned my usage of the app incredibly sloggish. If Mozilla wants to change the default ordering of these icons, I don't care that much, but surely it seems prudent to give the end user an option to change the order back to the previously established pattern? Having the menu icon in the bottom-right-most location on screen feels the most natural to me.

Following most recent UI update of Firefox the send tab to another device feature was removed. It is also not found under the more section after hitting the 3 dots. I have really enjoyed this feature and would love if it could be added back in, even as a toggle-able for the menu.
Open page reloads after leaving page and coming back to it. Waste of time. Fix it.

this update is NOT my favorite too many things are missing or are revamped into something i do not like. for instance. i HATE the way the sidebar is compressed to the side, then takes up valuable space with NONSENSE that i do not want. the toolbar - HOLY CRAPOLA!! i hate the new toolbar. i want the old tool bar and side bar back. there is SOOOO MUCH about the new toolbar that i hate that i simply can not begin to express where to start.
after so many years using firefox and recommending it to my customers - ill have to look for another browser to use and recommend to others.. i hate this!!!!!!!!!

I’m having an issue when using Google Sheets in Firefox. When I create a drawing shape, turn it into a button, and assign a script to it, everything works perfectly on Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, etc). But on Firefox, clicking the button just gives me:
> An error occurred > Script function xxx could not be found
Running the script from the custom menu (via `onOpen`) works without problems.
Some things I’ve tried / confirmed:
So it seems like a consistent issue in Firefox itself. Has anyone run into this or know the cause?

Firefox guidance says the reader view button should be in the address bar. This seems to have been replaced with an ai feature that is not a replacement for reader. No other menu seems to have a reader view option either. Please help as this feature was critical for making webpages accessible.

Yahoo Finance stock charts are not loading. Never encountered this problem before this week. A GeekSquad tech support person was not able to fix the problem and recommended I contact Firefox. Edge and Chrome load Yahoo Finance stock quote sites just fine; I'm only having trouble with Firefox. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks! Carol

Dear Mozilla Firefox Support,
I am seeking clarification and assistance regarding saved login details that appear in my Firefox browser, both on my laptop.
The situation is as follows:
At some point in the past, I mus thave attempted to access the Plenty of Fish (POF) dating site via the app on my iPhone. Alhtough not presently active, my iCloud account shows a history of the app being downloaded, and stored in the cloud.
I do not recall ever completing an account setup or using the service, but when I check Firefox on my laptop, I can see a username and password saved under Privacy & Security settings for POF.
I am trying to understand whether these saved credentials could have been synced between my iPhone and my laptop at the time of the attempted registration, meaning that they were stored automatically even if I did not intentionally log in on my laptop.
My specific questions are:
Do the Firefox saved logins on my laptop and my iPhone interlink automatically if Firefox Sync is enabled? (i.e., would login data entered on my phone app/browser be stored in the Firefox passwords list on my laptop?)
Is it possible to determine whether the saved username/password for POF was stored via the iPhone app/browser rather than being typed directly on the laptop?
I belive that if login attempts fail due to a non-existent or corrupted username/password, Firefox still store the login attempt details (username and password) even if the login itself did not succeed, can you confirm this? Is there a way of telling which it was failed/sucessful
This is a sensitive and personal matter, and I would greatly appreciate your guidance and any clarification on how Firefox may have stored or synced these details.
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards, A
