Today I was no longer able to stream movies on Amazon Prime or Youtube. I watch Amazon movies most nights, watched last night. Tonight I got a message when I tried to continue watching a tv series on Amazon that I've watched for weeks. It said I had to update Firefox and told me how, but when I went thru the process Firefox said it was up to date. On Youtube I got an error msg. 99,999 . What is happening?

Today I Receive Mozilla Firefox 133(64Bit) Update. After Successful Update. My Open Tabs Are Not Loading. Also, Firefox Become Very Slow When I Surf Youtube Videos. Video Stuck But I Can Hear Audio. Taking Time To Load Videos. Its A Portable Version.

Ok, there are a couple things that seem related and are worrying me.

First, every time lately that I have signed in to something new (new online account, FEMA, etc), when the little window pops up to ask if I want to save the log in info, it doesn't have the password I entered, but instead an immense string of characters (I'd say several hundred) AND I just saw this last time as I was erasing the password, that it actually looks like it might be a web address (I just briefly saw http:// before it was erased)

The next thing that has just happened today (Is black Friday now like solar flare ID theft Friday or something?!?!) is that when I tried to sign in to...I think it only happened on Amazon...when I clicked on the email/user box it took me to my saved passwords page. Every time. I couldn't even enter the log in because it would just go to passwords. That's really really worrisome.

And, then, the last thing that I haven't had a problem with so far since getting a new computer is every now and then my computer would all of a sudden just start doing things on it's own. I was logged in to an online store once that had my card saved and my computer just ordered everything in my cart. Once I was browsing on the library and it cancelled all the books I had on hold. I have video where it would just start entering random stuff in fields.

I have changed my keyboard and the keyboard I have now is wired.

Any ideas on what this might be? Or do I really have some serious bad guys out there messing with me?

Hello everyone.

I've been having some issues with Mozilla lately. I don't know if my CPU is in bad condition or not but, when I change tabs through my Windows, say changing tabs from Mozilla to Spotify and changing it back to Mozilla, my CPU gets very full, causing my cursor to lag, and Mozilla to be unresponsive for a couple of seconds first and it gets kinda worse as I continue to use my PC, causing the lag to occur for over 10 seconds.

I have seen some similar complaints on the web but they date back to 2014ish times.

What do you think? Is it somewhat my CPU's problem or did Mozilla's handling get worse over a patch or something?

I enjoy Mozilla and don't want to quit using it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I got GREAT instructions from "David" just a few minutes after posting my question (Thanks, much, David : ). I followed his directions and was able to transfer LOTS of emails to a second computer. But the emails are from 2020-2021. The computer I copied the roaming file from goes up to today, 11/29/2024. How can I a get all the emails from 2021 up to 2024 installed on the second computer? Uninstalled Adblock, have looked in Extensions on Mozilla and its not showing, however, with another website I have just tried to access,error message saying I have Adblock installed when I havent. I've also put this website on the safe websites and not made any difference.

The steps I have taken so far:

• Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions (everything was fine)
• Reloaded page using Shift+ Left Click to bypass cache
• Reloaded page with Ctrl + F5
• Started Firefox in Troubleshoot mode to assure it wasn't my extensions (I only use ublock but better safe than sorry)
• I disabled extensions after reloading in usual mode

What steps are next after these basic troubleshooting? I was hoping to use that site to share creations with friends.

How can I disable COMPLETELY the tab previews a/when I hover over a tab, and b/ when moving tabs (using left click and hold)? I've tried the various options listed in other questions on the support forum: nglayout.enable_drag_image = false browser.tabs.hoverPreview.enabled = false browser.tabs.hoverPreview.showThumbnails = false

Along with unticking "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar" in settings.

None of these works to completely disable the previews.

Is my only option to reinstall an older version of Firefox... again?

I'm having much difficulty in attaching a article I see to Facebook. Its possible the problem may be I'm not using the right instruction on the Firefox options when I right click the article I want to attach to Facebook. Some of those options are, Save link as, Copy link, when I right click for options. Can someone explain what is the right option to use? And, how do I proceed once I choose the correct option to make that attachment to a Facebook message I'm replying to? There are times a picture of the article will attach to the Facebook message, but the text that is associated with the attachment will not appear? Can someone please help? Thank you.

How the hell do I remove this crappy sidebar!?!?! Your suggestion of tapping the cog and clicking on sidebar button DOESN'T WORK! REMOVE IT! It is annoying, terrible! You guys ever going to get around to improving how to interact with bookmarks? When I have downtime during the day and I'd like to move my bookmarks around I can't! This has been an issue for a long time and I know others have asked. This is the one huge reason why I feel forced to use other browsers on my phone when not at home! Please get on this so I can just say on one browser for phone and home.
