Pop-up menus missing top portions (from File, Edit, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help)
When I click on any of the subjects in the FF menu, the top portions are missing and the menu blinks when I move the mouse into it. I can't see or click on the first several items in each menu. I have disabled ALL add-ons, removed Java, etc. I see no error logs. Running WinXP on an ACER Aspire1 with 2gb of memory. Have AVG free antivirus. Some toolbars got installed and removed I have removed FF and re-installed it. IE does not have thi8s issue, but I installed Seamonkey (since removed) and it behaved the same way. Next step I can see is to wipe the system and re-install Windows. Please help! Thanks in advance.

That helped quite a bit. Thanks. The problem is much less, but not gone. Not sure if a Windows or Firefox update caused this. My wife just started complaining a week ago and I've tried different things, none of which worked.
