How do I disable autosync ?

more options

G'day everybody.

I've currently setup my firefox sync and have multiple devices registered. At least one of my devices can be comprimised some day because it is at a public location. It's not good that anybody who opens firefox has direct access to all of my data (except passwords because of master password).

How do I disable the autosync or at least make Firefox Sync request a password at the beginning of each session ?

Cheers !

Does that solve the problem ?

The other option is to unsync that device.

You can "Remove this device" from the Sync Tab in the Options window.

At the moment, there's no option to block a Firefox profile completely with a password. That said, the Identity Team is exploring this option with the "Login to the Browser" feature, but it's not going to be ready before the end of the year.

Alright I hope they do push though password protected profiles ASAP ! That would solve the problem.

Sorry that doesn't solve the problem.
