The new "media control feature" overrides the keys on my Mac operating system.

Follow these 3 steps to enable or disable the control media feature! 1. Open the Firefox browser. 2. Enter about: config into the address bar, and confirm your intention. 3. Type media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled in the search box. 4. Set the media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled option to false to disable the feature.

And do tell me if it helps! thank you
