I use the site MyPoints.com regularly until yesterday. This is when it seems Firefox started blocking the site. I need to unblock it but don't know how.

I use the site daily. I can usually get on once in the morning but that's it because, as of yesterday, Firefox is blocking the site because it says connection is not secure and I get the page Problem loading site and Server not Found. I have been using this site for ages and intend on using it regularly. When I left click the "i" and see that it's not secure I also see that no permissions have been granted. I went to help to try to find a solution but the issue is that when I click on the arrow available there I am just told that I am not private and I can be seen. A box opens with Page Info about My Points.com with three headings: General, Media, and Security. The General tab just repeats the problem loading page issue. The media page cites some skin from Chrome which I don't understand as I am not using Chrome but am using FF. It says in the address box: chrome://global/skin/icons/warning-16.png Icon chrome://global/skin/icons/info.svg Background In the media preview box it shows the yellow triangle with a !

This is weird as it has absolutely nothing to do with MyPoints.com. The Security tab tells me I have visited the site over 1500 times and says it isn't storing cookies on my computer and i have no saved password and I believe both of these are false answers.

I searched help to find a fix but can't as I can't seem to get to the same Control Center boxes shown in the example. I don't think my version of FF has them. I also don't have the option of clicking a box in where you see Permissions when you click the "i" that lets you allow the site to run like I see in the example. I run FF 52.2.0 32 bit esr update channel as I need to run Java and shockwave for most of what I do on here. i play no video games, just casual games like text twist) but I do take surveys and use email programs that require these plug ins. I run Win7 64 bit.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

I was finally able to figure one thing out with some assistance: AVG Internet Security and Malwarebytes are incompatible (both were paid versions). The removal of one of those might have resolved the issue of MyPoints being blocked as I can now get there. It was not due to corrupt folders/files or anything like it.

That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.

If it is AVG or Malwarebytes this is new. Usually if either of them wants to block a page there is a big symbol in the middle of it and it says I can't go there. This displays part of the page or says it can't find website or can't connect to website. And now more sites without verified certificates are being blocked. Pain in neck. I read what you have and it seems like it's definitely FF. When I click on the "i" it says connection is not secure. There is no difference in the certificates between last week and today. This is even happening at the NYC MTA website where I can't display information about subways. Tghis nonsense might force me back to using Internet Explorer and that's not what I really want.

So I tried to open another window with MyPoints.com in it. OF course FF can't find the server. I click the "i" and request further information and it takes me to this page:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/page-info-window-view-technical-details-about-page?redirectlocale=en-US&as=u&redirectslug=Page+Info+window&utm_source=inproduct#Security

It also opened up a page info box with 3 headings only: General, Media, and Security. It is NOT as described on the Mozilla page I provided the link to above so it is impossible for me to figure out how to change permissions because there is no place in this page info box to do so and I haven't found it anywhere else which is why I came here in the first place.

Finally, I just went into Chrome and got my subway info. Obviously it IS Firefox and I have no clue how to fix this issue. The browser has gotten way too restrictive lately and the information at the support site is not what I see on my actual browser on my computer.

I called for more help.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

You may have corrupt cert8.db file. cert8.db stores all your security certificate settings

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate the above file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

Remove History For One Site

Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right-click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.

I now have a different problem and I will post that separately as it is unrelated to this issue.

I have a similar issue with my website and it crashes and stops loading with error connection is not secure and I get the page Problem loading site and Server not Found, I have tried same on other computer using firefox for and similar thing happened.

I have also checked my phone but the site works fine on other browsers like chrome and IE so this is not a server error, I have tried turning off firewall and AVG on my PC and still the error continued.

My other site on the same server works fine. Then What is it causing the issue for a single website not loading on all Devices?

Could this be a ISP issue?

I had no problem with those links. Please go to the top of any support.mozilla.org web page and use the Ask A Question link; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new Select the product for what the problem is (Firefox or whatever).

Now select the category for the problem. At the bottom is Other.

Describe the problem in brief. Then press <enter>. The website will display any prior posts that might help you. If nothing on the list can help, at the bottom press the button; None Of These Solve My Problem.

Now enter all the relative information on the problem. At the bottom of this, you can Add Images.

Under this is Troubleshooting Information. Please press the Share Data button. This will let us look at your system details. No Personal Information Is Collected.
