Currently I have XP system + use google gmail. How will using mozilla affect current files, etc?

I use google however regularly the banner tells me that my computer does not support Google Chrome. I also use juno email for business ads and connections. 

Before I switch I'd appreciate knowing that I won't experience issues inhibiting my current usage.

Note that Mozilla also has stopped supporting the Windows XP platform in the regular releases (53+). You can use Firefox 52 ESR for as long as it is supported (i.e. about a year when ESR will update to Firefox 59 ESR). After that you will use an unsupported browser.
