Yesterday, the website "www.smallworlds.com" was working just fine; although there was a big storm, it still worked and didn't shut down or crash. When I tried to get back online this morning, I got the error: "The webpage is not available". I was using Google Chrome at the time. I got upset because this is my favorite site; therefore, I Googled how to solve the issue. I've checked my firewall; nothing was blocked. I scanned my computer for viruses and malware, then left it alone for 4 hours; hoping it would work, but it didn't. I deleted my history, cookies, and caches, restarted my computer, uninstalled my internet security and downloaded another one, and switched browsers. When I tried Firefox, I received this error: "The server at www.smallworlds.com is taking too long to respond." This aggravated me even more because all browsers seemed to be failing me and I didn't have a solution. I noticed that many people have had this same problem, but they have found solutions. I've tried everything and nothing seems to be working. I really need to get back on that website soon, so please help me.

Hi NeedingHelp,

I am able to connect to them at this time. It's possible that this was a temporary issue with their servers.

Are you still having trouble accessing www.smallworlds.com? If so, is this the only website that you are encountering problems accessing?

Please let us know if your problem is resolved, or if you have any opther questions.

Thanks!!

- Ralph

Ralph,

Thanks, but I'm still having trouble with the server not responding. This is the only website that's having this problem.

Waka_Flacka_Flame,

I tried both websites that you listed, and neither gave me a solution.

Can you boot into safe mode with networking and see if you get the same error, a antivirus may be interfering.

At the moment, I am in Safe Mode with Networking, but the server still isn't responding.

Have you tried resetting your router, or running firefox safe mode.

I just tried putting Firefox in safe mode, that didn't work. I'll try resetting my router.

Resetting my router didn't work either .

Does it work after deleting cert8.db or on another browser?

To delete cert8.db go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Info > Show Profile Folder > and then delete cert8.db when firefox is closed.

Deleting cert8.db did nothing :( Other than Firefox, I've tried Chrome and Internet Explorer.
