Twitter does not update in Firefox but does in IE9. I prefer Firefox but can't use it with Twitter. Is there a fix?

When I go to Twitter in Firefox it doesn't update automatically, which it should. It does, however, and I'm sorry to say this, update automatically. I prefer Firefox and hope there's a fix for this Twitter issue. Thank you.

I don't know if it matters, try this url instead, which is a secured one (https):
