My guess is that thunderbird set up a new profile. Try this: - click help>troubleshootinginformation - scroll down to 'profiles' and click 'about:profiles' - the next screen shows all profiles. click to open each and look in the imapmail folder for evidence of an IMAP account or to the Mail folder for any POP acccount, and the Mail\Local Folders folder for local folders. - if you find your content, go back to the about:profiles' view and launch that profile.
