Dear Firefox, There are thousands of old Apple computers with OpenCore Legacy Patcher which provides the latest MacOS for these old but capable machines. For example my 2011 Macbook Pro is on macOS Sequoia (version 15). Your removal of HD3000 workarounds broken hardware acceleration of Firefox: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1991812 Affected models:

  • MacBook Pro 2011 13", 15" and 17"
  • MacBook Air 2011 11" and 13"
  • Mac mini 2011 models without Radeon dGPU

Hi Csaba!

These kinds of requests are better fit for Mozilla Connect discussions, the developers are generally not reading support questions.

But in this case, I don't think this will be done, so the only practical advice I can give is using Firefox ESR, ESR 140 is supported until October 13, 2026.
