Private lock not hiding tabs

Kiki megválaszolva

Hello there,

I am new to Firefox. I recently installed it on Android with the latest version (I believe it is 143) and while playing with the settings, I found the "Private Lock Tabs" feature. However, even after acknowledging it with my fingerprint, I can switch back and forth to normal browsing without it ever requesting my fingerprint again, and my private tabs remain visible and are never hidden. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app and turning on/off the feature but it doesn't seem to work. Any help is appreciated!

-Juan

Little update: the app now requests my fingerprint when coming from another app (don't know if this is the intended behavior, if so, I'm sorry), but within the app I can switch between normal and private without any biometrics whatsoever. Thanks again in advance,

Hi Juan,

Based on Lock your private tabs on Firefox for Android, I don't think that's the intended behavior. But I couldn't find a bug report about this so far. Would you mind providing a screen recording of the issue so we can file a bug?
