Search using CRTL+K after latest update

When I search for emails with CTRL+K, it used to come up with a list that I could click on and it would open that specific email even if it was part of a threat. Now it sends me to a whole list of emails and I have to search through all of them in order to open the one I want. This is all after the latest update. How can I get it to open immediately in that first search?

change the default back to the old way of doing things. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/message-threading-thunderbird#w_changing-default-threading-mode

Hi Matt, This did not solve my issue. I still click on the email I want to open and it still sends me to a list of emails rather than just open the email I want to look at.

Sounds like you had an addon installed that no longer works.
