I cannot add Filelink to Thunderbird

I am trying to add on a Filelink provider but I click the button and it does not work. Nothing happens. I was able to send the file through Thunderbird as it was 20MB file. However I would like to use Filelink for large files. I am using Mac OSX 11.6.1 Big Sur.

Just nothing happens when I click the button and I cannot install this addon.

can you access the web link https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/tag/filelink

if so download the file for your chosen addon and add it to Thunderbird by using the cog wheel icon in the addon manager tab
