How can I stop gmail messages appearing in my other email inbox (internode.on.net)?

I have recently re-configured my gmail account from POP to IMAP -AND changed from an old email server [@bigpond.com]. I have another email address [@internode.on.net] on which I have changed nothing. I now have my gmail messages being received in my internode inbox as well as my internode messages. No big deal but it means I have to read & clear all the gmail messages twice (two times!)-once on internode and once on gmail. The internode messages are NOT being received in the gmail inbox (and I don't want them there, anyway!). How do I configure my internode email account to not receive or show all the gmail emails received?

Hi Let's try and work out where the issue originates. I wonder whether the Gmail messages are going to both Gmail and Internode, and then being downloaded to Thunderbird from there. Can you log in to Internode's mailbox online, and see whether both sets of messages arrive in their webmail? If the answer is yes, check Internode webmail settings to see if they are being automatically forwarded to Gmail. Internode support or online help may be able to help with that. If no, the Gmail messages are definitely not in Internode's webmail, we'll go from there. Let us know how that turns out! Agnes
