windows pc Calendar cannot see any events, past or future, help please?

Logged on this morning to find my Calendar completely empty, no tasks or events showing. Tried restart without effect. Tried reboot without effect. Noticed updates required to Firefox and Thunderbird. Now both on latest version. Still no entries visible in Calendar. Have used for many years without a single issue. Cannot understand what might have happened and have no idea how to recover, or if it is possible.

I have this afternoon sat down to put some forthcoming events into Calendar. On completing the first of these I selected Close & Save and all events reappeared. WTF Thanks anyway Terry

I have this afternoon sat down to put some forthcoming events into Calendar. On completing the first of these I selected Close & Save and all events reappeared. WTF Thanks anyway Terry
