Cannot go to address bar (F6) while on fullscreen mode (F11) like I used to.
Hi. For ages I've been able to highlight the URL (F6) while on fullscreen mode (F11) (I have "Hide toolbars" checked). Now, hitting F6 only causes the screen to sort of jump and it takes two or three hits (or holding that key for a couple of seconds) to get it to highlight the web address.
I've tried: Creating a new (completely clean, no configurations) profile and it did not work.
Thanks!

Hi zfcdnpiq, Ctrl+L and Alt+D will still focus the address bar on the first try in F11 fullscreen. However, the toolbar area is a bit more sticky than it used to be and is a bit harder to get rid of.

The F6 key works for me on Linux
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make the change effective.
Firefox 61 on Windows 7 - no extensions installed, a basic installation that I use for testing the basic Firefox.
When I am in Full Screen mode, the F6 key kicks me out of Full Screen.

As I said above: "I've tried: Creating a new (completely clean, no configurations) profile and it did not work. "
But, I went ahead and tried both things suggested (safe mode and disabling hardware acceleration). No change. I still have to press F6 more than once.

That's what I'm using, too: Firefox 61.0.1 (32-bit) Windows 7 Ultimate
The add-ons are not the problem as neither safe mode nor a new profile helps.

Thank you! This worked. I didn't know these commands (I feel so silly for not looking that up).
