I am not a programmer, and I am tired of trying to figure out why my Firefox keeps crashing (plugin container stopped working, slow, etc.,)--only at work.

At least once a day, Firefox freezes up and won't respond to anything. Sometimes it goes ahead and actually crashes, but usually I have to just shut it down via Task Manager. Often I'll get the message "Plugin container has stopped working" or whatever that message is. I don't have this problem at all on my home computer, just on my work computer. It is absolutely frustrating, and is driving me to seriously consider moving to another browser. I have been a faithful fan of Firefox forever, and I really don't want to go to another browser, but you may be forcing me to. I'm not a programmer, and I don't really have time to try to figure out how to do all the things that you suggest to find the problem and fix it.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

I have had no response. Does Firefox really not want me to use its browser?
