Many of my bookmarks are missing on my android phone. The bookmarks are fine on my desktop computer. After this, I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox on my phone. What is going on?

After I reinstalled Firefox, the bookmarks are still missing; just a few show up. I also tried to sync the bookmarks to see if this would help. There is no change.
