How can I change the 'default' account for composing messages

gmail is the first item listed in 'Accounts" and is used by default when sending message. I would like to use the second item as the default.

The offered response only seem to be for multiple gmail accounts. The account I want to use as default is 'OTHER'

  1. Press Alt or F10 to see the menu bar
  2. Click on the Tools >> Account Settings
  3. At left, select the second account
  4. At the bottom left, click on the Account Actions button, then select Set as default
