Where do my downloads go?

When I download on my verizon lg g2 it says downloading, download finish, but cant find them anywhere? I have firefox and updated. Is there something I need to put in my phone to download things? Also sync keeps turning off and have a hard time turning it back on, also things say background needed. I am new to this whole cell phone thing and feel completely lost. Does the sync or background things effect the downloading?

Android Sync should not affect the downloading of Firefox. Have you looked in your application drawer to see if Firefox is in there because that is where it would normally be. If you still cannot find it, go to the Play Store Firefox page and see if there is an "open" button. Otherwise try to reinstall.
