After about 8-10 minutes I have to re-sign in - started today along with Youtube not playing videos

For the Youtube problem, please see this new support article: Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox.
Since Yahoo may be using "Flash cookies" hopefully the above will help with that, too.
