When I try to drag jpg file into email that I'm writing, a round red circle with diagonal bar (like European "no parking") appears next to image being dragged and image does not insert. Previously I was able to drag jpg file into email. Use Kaspersky Antivirus and Win 8.1.

If you have the write window set to plain text, you will not be allowed to embed (drag) an image into the body of your message; but you can add it to the attachments area.

If you use the HTML write window, you should be able to embed (or drag) your image into the message body,

Use the HTML version. press Shift as you open a write window.
