hi, this should be a preference that you can set at google.com/preferences - tick the option to open results in a new window (=tabs in firefox)...

You can also right click on the link and select Open In New . . . . . .

I spent so much time contacting Google and no success. They said they do not support Mozilla only Internet Explorer. Where did you get that link? Can I get there myself through settings?
