When trying to search the internet, Firefox simply clears what I type in after I click send.

I cannot search the internet using Firefox... clicking "search" just erases whatever I type in. Am able to search using a different browser. Have the latest version, etc.

There are five places to "search" within Firefox.

  1. Search Bar
  2. about: home - the default homepage
  3. about:newtab - the new tab page
  4. the Location Bar
  5. Contexual Menu search for "...." feature

All are controlled by the Search Bar "engine" selection

Is that issue the same with all areas of "search"
