When I go to this website, I get a view of what looks like navigation buttons, not the correct display. When I use internet explorer to go to this same address, I get the proper website display. I have cleared cache, and have tried typing in the website address directly. all with the same bad result. How do I fix this?

Your replies confirmed that I had some history still stored, but I could not follow your instructions to clear it. I am running Firefox 20.0.1. When I click on my Firefox symbol at top left, I get a menu to restore or close the page. To get to where I could clear the entire history, I needed to go to Tools, then Clear Recent History, then Clear Everything. Then I set up a new tab, typed in the website, and stored it as a home page. Thanks for your suggestions. I'm still not clear as to why the Firefox help and your answers lead to menus that I can not produce with my version, but my problem is solved. Thanks again!

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the affected files.

It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
