Is it possible to make FIrefox not download videos unless I hit the "play" button? Limited band width & prefer to not always have to stop the downloads

I have limited bandwidth and would prefer that Firefox did not automatically begin downloading videos on pages (like youtube) UNTIL I hit the "play" button. Is there a setting I can change for this I haven't been able to find yet?

Maybe use the Flash Block extension.
