WHY DO I HAVE FIREFOX INSTALLED TWICE? (x64 and x86)
Same as the title. The x64 version appears to be the newest one (50.0.2, where x86 is 50.0).
Is it possible to unistall one of them?

You can uninstall the Firefox version that you do not need.
Note that only the Shockwave Flash plugin and Silverlight plugins are enabled for 64 bit Firefox versions for Windows. If you need to use other plugins like Java or media players then install the 32 bit Firefox release.
