When i click on a search box, or a sign in box, nothing happens
I am in a webpage, and normally, when i type in the search box, it auto populates predictive search items (such as the city i am looking in) but now it does not. I click the search button, nothing happens. I click the log in button, nothing happens, I click the search options if i figure a way to by-pass the search, nothing happens. I have removed and restarted my profile, reinstalled firefox, restarted in safe mode, none of these alleviate the issue.

Are you experiencing these problems on multiple sites, or is all this on one particular site?
Did any other symptoms start around the same time, for example, any issues with secure connections?
Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.
If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
- "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
- Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
and OK the restart.
Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

I get this at multiple sites. I have run in safe mode (as noted in my initial issue) no improvement. I cant tell when it started happening, but i am seeing it more and more.
I will keep trying to diagnosis and isolate the issue.
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
