I can't go to Google or Yahoo using Firefox. I can on Safari. I've tried everything in your support pages.

I can't go to Google or Yahoo using Firefox. I can on Safari. I've tried everything in your support pages. I've used Firefox for a long time and this started happening once I upgraded to Mac OS Yosemite.

Hello prod_eng1, did you try also a clean re-install ? This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from the next link (full dmg package) : https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
  2. After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (or open the Firefox menu New Fx Menu and click the close button Close 29).
  3. Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
    1. Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

I just did the re-install. I was able to go to yahoo and google once. Any attempt after the first time, would get me nowhere.
