Tbird starts to d/l messages: "nn of mm new messages" counts up and just before it gets to the last few, it stops. It doesn't put the retrieved messages in the inbox or anything. Then it gives this error message:

"The DELE command did not succeed. Error marking a message as deleted. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded: Too many requests."

But this is POP mail, so delete request don't go back to the mail server. The number of emails deleted from the local db shouldn't have any effect on d/l... I'm mightily confused.

Yes, I did delete thousands of old emails. Still shouldn't make any difference for retrieving mail, nor should the client be overwhelmed by commands it successfully executed days ago.

bold textI bought new Mac Air, asked Apple Store to transfer all data. I know all the data is indeed transferred but I can't access it. Previous Mac was 2017 so Intel chips, so I did activate Rosetta but still can't access data

There are certain emails that I get that in the email list display that show escaping HTML instead of data that would be human readable.

Its not all emails but it seems to be emails that maybe also have an image in the body of the email right away that is perhaps in a specific format that it happens.

I will attach screenshots. Target will be my example.

La cartella che li contiene sul mio pc riporta il peso di ogni file, che non è affatto zero. Ora mi chiedo: 1) perché il gestore Altapec mi dice che i files non sono stati eliminati dalla mia casella, mentre io ho verificato in tutte le cartelle di detta casella che non c'è nulla, eccetto una PEC? 1) se i files non sono stati definitivamente eliminati, allora il gestore della mia casella PEC non può recuperare dal proprio server questi files con un programma recupero dati e inviarmeli? Hi to everyone. I'm hoping someone can help. See attached picture. I have been getting this notification now and then for a few weeks now. It's getting annoying. Every time this happens, I have to manually verify my sign-in information, and it goes through without any issues. Everything stays OK for a week's time or whatever, and then, boom, I get this again. Is anyone else having this problem? Are the Thunderbird developers aware of this problem? Is there a fix I can try to stop this from happening again? Thank you very much.

I use Thunderbird on a MacBook Air running Sequoia. In the last month or so, Thunderbird has taken to sending emails to my spam folder when it shouldn't. To clarify: I am aware Thunderbird does not have its own whitelisting process, but makes use of address books. All the addresses recently characterised as spam are listed in my basic address book, Mac OS's proprietary "Contacts"; most of the emails were from private correspondents, and as far as I can tell included no spam trigger phrases such as "special offer"! If this problem is insoluble, or inherent to the application, I will be forced to abandon Thunderbird, which is otherwise perfectly satisfactory. Any suggestions?

I'm having trouble with my Samsung Email app. For some reason, my emails are not syncing properly. I’ve noticed that new emails are not coming in unless I manually refresh the app. This has been going on for a while, and it’s causing me to miss important messages. I’ve tried restarting my phone and checking the internet connection, but nothing seems to work. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the app settings or something else. Is anyone else facing this issue? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Thunderbird does correctly mark emails I choose as spam spam. Problem is, TB fails to move these marked-as-spam emails to the selected spam folder. I've searched for cures here but nothing helps. Now what Mozilla??? See attached pics...

Good morning I have a problem with emails on thunderbird. Often they seem blocked in the system or fail to send. In addition all my emails are on the thunderbird and would like to remove all the aol mails but cannot find out how to do this?

There is also an aol pop up that comes up on the screen that cannot be deleted or filled in and i have to keep restartingthe computer to get rid of it

When you install Thunderbird it gives you "Extra Folders" Such as "ALL MAIL" "IMPORTANT" and "STARED" my question is can I delete these and not delete the email messages they contain? They contain some very important email which are in my other folders and I do not want to lose them,, So if I delete them does it delete the emails that are in there and also in other folders?

I am writing an email and selecting addresses from address book. Several select ok but one is selected but once on the To: line there is a dot next to address and when hover over get msg: "Joe Doe <joe.doe@hotmail.com> is not in your Address Book.
