I had a problem where FF 140.0 would not update, and in trying to get FF yo update, I used a re-install tool to which I was pointed in my problem report. This caused FF to wipe out my configuration, and I lost all my windows and tabs. I have gone to

    \Appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Proifiles\abnfpged.default

cleared all of the data therein, and restored that directory from a backup I made last Monday. But I cannot get FF to use that directory. "about:profiles" shows only two profiles, but the Profiles directory has five profiles:

Only the profiles beginning with "j" and "f1" are seen in the "about:profiles" screenshot I have attached. And I have attached a screenshot of my profiles.ini file. Also, in the abnfpged.default directory I restored, where is the list of all of my open windows and tabs? FF used to keep that in a sessionstore.jsonlz4 file, but that file is only written when FF closes. I tried to save a copy when I was having problems, but I stored the copy in the same directory, which FF changed during the re-install process. Here is my profiles,.ini file:

I have firefox on another PC with wallpaper I wish to install on my current firefox. I have identified its name = "Abstract". Facebook page fails to fully load often (not always) and in some occasions it load partially -instead of a picture it shows a blank box with a description of what it is supposed to be on the box.

Using other browser (Edge for example) loads the page fine in the affected Laptop and loading on an IPad using Firefox works fine too.

I have "flushed" the WI-Fi and "requested" a new IP for this computer and it is hard to tell if this solves the problem temporary or it is just the on-off nature of the problem.

In other occasions the page appears to load ok but the pull down menu (like notifications) are "blank" or it just appears to be loading and never navigate to the requested page.

In the sample below (image) is similar to the issue although in this case the page loaded after a few seconds. Note the missing information.

I posted my problem last week on the forum and was told to do a Control+Shift+K, which I did. It indicated that Fingerprinting was blocking the sonograms. I am nervous about unblocking this one feature of eBird and wonder if someone could investigate and walk me through fixing it without messing things up overall. Nobody answered my post. I'm including an image of the results of my discovery. Thank you.

I am currently testing the new VPN feature in Firefox. I Is noticed that Firefox always starts with this integrated VPN being off. I searched but I didn't find any way to have it always on when launching VPN. Is that possible?

Hello, I somehow have gotten a slimmer sidebar that is attached to my bookmarks sidebar on the left. I can't get it to disappear without losing my bookmarks at the same time. When I re-open bookmarks it has this sidebar again on the side. Is it possible to get just this slim bar to go away? Thank you

Hello, Im using localized (Lithuanian) version of Firefox. Several updates back, Firefox started including russian and Polish in preferred languages by default. Personally i know how to remove those for myself. However, since im managing around 300 computers in a school. This starts to become an issue. In Lithuania we only have one official language. And when pages in a school start opening in foreign (russian) language this starts to be quite annoying. I would love to keep using Firefox but i need help.

I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighbouring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please add Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widgets global coverage and usability.

I couldn't log into a site and it was suggested to 'clear cache' as follows: - settings - privacy and security - cookies and site data - clear browsing data BUT only cookies and temp cache sites. By mistake I believe I ticked browsing and download history too, and looks as though it is irrersible? Now I no longer automatically get all the little boxes I used to get for usual regular log ins (eg The Times, Meteo, banks, email etc) I think I can use 'add shortcuts' and re-enter these, but any other suggestions?
