Because the economy, inflation, and lower incomes are still a major problem, many users like myself need to continue using old computers that can only run Windows 7. So we need Firefox ESR 115 to continue being supported with updates for at least a couple more years.

Firefox does not work with many websites any more. I constantly get notifications from websites telling me I need to update my browser. I am not able to download many forms and some videos no longer work. I've tried to update but I'm on some ESR & still get notifications that my browser is not supported by many websites. I have windows 11 (chg from 10 in March 2025), 64 bit but it says my system is not sufficient & that I'm running windows 8 which I am not. I have made the decision, after over 10 yrs using Firefox, that I'm going to move everything to Chrome. I HATE that I have to do this but I can't get any support/help from Mozilla or firefox to correct whatever the problem is. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate. Done

Hello Last year, I first saw the icons in the far right top corner of home page (red 'X' and other orange one) kept turning grey. Now for several months the entire top 'task bar' area of Firefox home page constantly turns grey, then back to regular color, back and forth, in the most aggravating way. I tried all suggestions: disabled hardware accelerations, disabled themes and extensions, cleared cache.... Still persists. Has anybody else encountered this? I use Firefox as my only browser-- on a Toshiba laptop. Thanks.

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to uppsc.up.nic.in because this website requires a secure connection.

Why does Vanguard say my Firefox browser is no longer supported. It says I have to update to the latest version. I am using version 115.26.0esr (64-bit) and it says Firefox is up to date.

Their website seems to work okay, but they say I may not be getting the "best experience," whatever that means.

All of my extension buttons disappeared, both from the main toolbar and from the Extensions sub-menu. They are still installed however. The only entry visible in the Extensions button, or in Manage Extension Shortcuts, is for an extension that has no button (Markdown Viewer).

This issue persists even if I switch to a known-good backup of my profile.

Hi I have an old version in my mac (os sierra 10.13.6). Is it possible for me recieving the update ? Can I still use Firefox 115.26.0esr?

when I do a search, starting today, the AI either hangs, returning nothing, or only partially works and then hangs. This is serious for me as the AI results have meant that I was getting much more from a search than I used to. I am using a Samsung laptop on W7. I updated the version to latest one 115.26.0, with no joy. Is it going to stay like this? If so I will move on. I support Mozilla with £. Thanks for your help. I am 80 now. When I was 40 I would have been in the thick of knowing all about Firefox (I was in technical IT then) but I'm now too old to keep up with all that.

I would like to inspect the data that would be removed if I checked the "Settings for Clearing History > Data: Site settings"

From earlier experimentation, I observed that checking that box removes some persistence data that the ChatGPT web site uses, for instance. I also observed that it removes "Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data" that I have entered (not sure why, because it's data I typed, not data that the web sites are saving on my machine).

But the question is what steps are performed on what tables in the current user's profile folder. If not all contents are removed from a folder, please specify what the deletion criteria are.

Hi. I installed Firefox on my old Hp, and have now taken another laptop, an Acer Aspire One and installed Firefox on that as well, but a extended support version. I am struggling to import all my bookmarks (ex Chrome) to my Acer, and in the struggle I done something wrong since Firefox on the Acer is now locked or blocked !! I am an "old Timer" and not very computer literate. Can someone help me solve these issues so that I can move away from the HP and depend on the Acer. I found Firefox easier to use as compared to Chrome, which seemingly demanded more memory from the computer.
