I recently switched to Firefox from Chrome. I imported all the bookmarks and passwords from Chrome into Firefox on Windows.

Next, I installed it on Linux and later on Android. The sync is not working properly that is what I noticed. Basically I have all the data on my Windows PC Firefox. It is not syncing between other devices, that will be my notebook running Linux and my Android Phone.

I read other similar question son the forum and did a Google search as well. I already did re-install a few times to no avail.

After the second to the last update to Firefox I started experiencing an information pop up message "Could not determine any profile running in backgroundtask mode!".

Is there a fix for this?

When I click the download button I usually see my recent downloads and click open the file directly from the drop down. After 10-20 downloads are performed the drop down no longer shows my recent files until I restart firefox. I think the issue is once you hit a certain amount of downloads the preview drop down no longer works. Is this a know bug? Its happening on any pc, im on version 104.0.2 (64-bit)

Mozilla VPN indicates that it connects to the internet as normal, but I'm unable to go online with any app or access the internet. As soon as I disconnect Mozilla VPN, internet and apps work fine again.

I uninstalled Mozilla VPN and reinstalled the app, but it still is not working.

    My Firefox browser was updated to 104.0.2 (64-bit) version and since then there is no sound. When I open the same website in chrome I'm able to hear the sound of videos and news.

Hello, On several occasions I have tried to purchase online products/sevices with my AmEx/BA card. Each time the payment has been help up after entering the one time passcode. This then sends the info to AmEx's 3rd party middle men, i.e. Adyen payments. At this point everything stops and the web page just hangs. No payments go through to AmEx, so nothing is charged to my account. I have now been told that " ...in all probability, it's your browser that's causing the problems with AmEx's third party service providers." This never happens if I use any of my other credit cards. So, is this a load of bull that AmEx are feeding me, or, is there a real issue with Mozilla/AmEx.

Any input is welcome before I go back to AmEx and tear a strip off them.

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I ask how we can disable the "Update available" popup in the top right-hand corner that appears every time we open the browser.

I have auto-updates turned off because I would like to choose myself when to update the browser and really hate being nagged by the update popup to do so!!!

To be clear, I don't want to turn off updates entirely with the "policies.json" file that I've seen with other questions; I just want to disable the update popup and still be able to update periodically AT MY OWN DISCRETION.

I really don't know why it's so hard for FF developers to give us that popup disabling option. I have always suggested using FF to people I know for over 10 years, but will no longer do so and will be looking for an alternate browser if this continues.

FF is becoming more like Microsoft by trying to dictate what's best for us at the expense of user experience.

Recently (last month or so) I noticed a new behavior: when I receive PDF attachments via Yahoo e-mail, if I open them using Adobe Acrobat DC reader, and print them, after printing the Yahoo e-mail tab closes. So I have full functionality -- can open the PDFs, print them, everything good -- but then I have to restart Yahoo e-mail. Big pain.

This behavior is occurring on all three of my PCs (two laptops and a desktop), all of which are running latest Windows 11, and latest Firefox, and latest Acrobat reader.

Hi, since some weeks, my Firefox browser is super slow after changing networks. For example, when I'm on Wifi and then switching to normal wired network, Firefox is loading any content only very slowly, despite the connection is super fast. Other browsers like Chrome or Edge don't have this problem. The issue can be very easily resolved though: I just have to close and restart Firefox, and it's super fast immediately again. Still it is annoying, as I switch networks pretty often. Please support. Thank you!

Ever since i updated to Firefox 104.0.2, no web pages fully load, often it take multiple refresh or open to get the pages to work at all.

I have a gigabit connection that works perfectly on two other computers and there is no issue at all with Edge, Chrome, Vivaldi or Brave, only with Firefox since the update.

What is going on?

Need help. Just installed Firefox on Windows 11 on a new computer. I tried to sync the bookmarks so that it was like all the other versions I've had. But, I can't. I can put bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar, but where I used to have the Bookmarks Menu on the top right of monitor I can't seem to do it. I miss opening a folder and having multiple bookmarks opening all at once. A little help please. Thanks....

A while ago (months) some fonts started to display very thin and pale, which should not. I have allowed websites using their own font. I have reinstalled Firefox. It's not only our website realclimate.org but also a few others where I have this problem. Chrome or iphone display these pages correctly.

Is there way how to organize my addons to groups on firefox toolbar? Let's say that I want to have folders or containers or groups for: video addons, shopping addons, searching addons, tabs addons, ... (see attached image).

When I schedule a post on my Wix blog site, it indicates I'm in the New York time zone. My time zone is Perth, Western Australia and my MAC computer is set up for this. How can I change the Firefox browser time zone setting to Perth, Western Australia too?

Simple, clear instructions to recover most recent Firefox TabsSessionManager Session. I am to the point of just finding a new session manager. I have used this produce for years, but I am disappointed they have not updated and automated the recovery process. nor do they clearly explain their analog recovery process and I need this F*** now. Its not like I have contributed money along the way.

McAfee has notified me that a piece of software which is apparently from HP (HPUpdate within HP Framework) is trying to access a suspicious IP address (13.224.2.51).

An online search doesn't show this as being associated with HP but it is in an Amazon centre so it could be associated with almost anyone.

Is there anything in the Mozilla world which would help me determine whether this is a genuine problem or McAfee is just confused?

At this point my option seems to be to reinstall the my HP printer software and see what impact this has.
