is there a way to make the unified inbox android widget also sort unread mail at the top?

The app itself sorts ubread mail at the top, this is obviously vert useful. What seem strange is that the home screen widget does not do this. That setting would be doubbly useful on the widget where a quick peek to see what is what is the entire point.

Is there a way to configure the widget to also do this type of sorting?
