Lately some of my email subfolders have been appearing in Thunderbird as drafts, with the drafts symbol instead of the regular folder symbol. The folders also lose their original position and appear below my inbox. All messages received in these folders appear as my own drafts. As a consequence I can not reply to these messages but instead send the original received message as if it were my own. The same problem occurs in Thunderbird on different clients, however the e-mails and folders that appear as drafts are not the same on these clients. The same configuration has worked for a long time without issues. I have made no changes to the configuration since. Any tips as to why this happens are very welcome. Thanks in advance. In short: Under account settings -> 'Copies & Folders' choose to save drafts in one of folders affected by the issue. Then reset the drafts folder setting to whatever you were using before. The position will change after you restart Thunderbird. It is still unclear why this happened in the first place.
