Thunderbird has been displaying certain special characters in my emails for quite some time now. If I enter an 'F' to go forward to the next mail or a 'B' to go back to the previous mail, then return to the mail that has the problem, the special characters disappear. I have attached a screen shot of an example of this behavior. Can someone tell me how to permanently correct this? Is this a bug in Thunderbird? Thanks.
