Thanks, finally got it working

Went into about:addons in safe-mode in FF and disable "Disable browsing plus", you can only do it in safe-mode. All the other extensions worked fine.

appreciate the help.

Let's start with this;

Places Maintenance by MaK77

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/ Places Maintenance

Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks, and history module behind Firefox.

Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then press Next on the bottom.

The wording is "JavaScript application This function has been disabled"

http://kb.mozillazine.org/JavaScript_is_not_Java

If only JavaScript kept the original name of LiveScript to reduce the confusion with Java over the years.

What Extensions do you have installed as perhaps one of them is triggering this error.

Same extension i had last month and it was working. I have no idea why it pops up if is wasn't JavA, do i need to add an extension of some kind?

In Firefox JavaScript is enabled by default.

To make sure, please type in the address bar about:config and press Enter. (promise to be careful, if asked)

Type in the search bar and look for the preference javascript.enabled and make sure that its value is set to true (= default)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Got rid of the history in Safe mode, tried again in regular mode and still getting the same problems, think ill delete firefox and reinstall to see if that works.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or it could be Hardware Acceleration. How to disable Hardware Acceleration {web link}

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All Of them.

If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.
