Listen again on BBC iPlayer causes "network unavailable" symbol

Hello,

I can listen live to BBC through iPlayer. However, when I listen to the archived programmes, after a period of operating normally, the "network unavailable" symbol appears.

Sometimes, closing Firefox clears the problem. But most of the time, it's necessary to restart Windows or reset the Orange livebox.

A secondary problem is that I can no longer access video media (youtube etc.). The video starts to play but jumps back to the beginning before displaying an error message.

Adobe Flash Player is present as an add on.

I didn't use to have these problems on older versions of Firefox.

Has anyone any suggestions as to why these problems occur?

I am sorry to hear that sometimes the network becomes unavailable and that youtube does not play video media.

First please try Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode and troubleshoot by disabling each of your extensions by setting each to "ask to active" on the about:addons page. Does this minimize the issue when you try to access the media when the plugin is set to ask to activate?

Do you use a firewall? Please reconfigure the Firewall for Firefox and the plugin container.

Please post back with your results.
