TBird up-to-date, but why do I STILL get that 'update could not be installed' message?

Getting fed up with that message, I decided to do something about it, so I signed in as Administrator, updated, and the update worked. But still I get that annoying message when I go back to my normal everyday account, yet Thunderbird tells me it is now up-to-date.

Thankyou for replying Wayne. This message has been coming up following my last two upgrades, even though the version appeared to be upgraded and TBird still worked.. It was removed temporarily by my helpful local computer man, but returned following my next upgrade. I took some advice from the FAQ site. One suggestion was to run the upgrade in Administrator mode, so I logged in as Administrator and the upgrade was then successful. But when I logged out of Administrator and returned to my normal everyday self, (this afternoon 5 Jan 18) that message is still appearing, even though TBird says it is up-to-date. This afternoon, my system said it was running TBird 52.2.1 and now it is on 57.0.3 (64 bit).
