When I type a letter into the address box, several Firefox-installed suggestions pop up in the drop down window. I have put in Privacy Settings for the Location Bar that I only want bookmarked suggestions to show, yet these following open-starred addresses show up in addition to my own bookmarks.

I tried to delete them but they remain-

I want to permanently delete THESE "suggestions" >

Problem solved! >

1. I clicked on the bookmarks icon in the top bar

2. the dropdown box had Bookmarks Toolbar, Other Bookmarks, Recent Tags ... and, surprise, surprise! --- a Firefox or Mozilla entry

I forget which now (Firefox or Mozilla), since I simply and easily DELETED it (the file or cache)

Now only MY "real" bookmarks are auto-suggested!

Right-click each of those bookmarks and select Delete.

When I rt click on each of those they immediately open (go to)

if I hover over them they turn blue, and if I then push "delete", they still remain the next time

if I hover and hold CTRL, or ALT or ALT GR and then push "delete", they still remain the next time

OF course i tried all of that many times before asking for help

Does this mean that there is no answer?

Out of maybe one-half BILLION Firefox users (from Internet specs) that i am the ONLY person with this problem?
