BT Yahoo has recently stopped liking Windows (Vista) Mail and I now get multiple timeouts (BT added security??). I want to try Thunderbird, but my old laptop with Vista OS has not got KB 2763674. 'How can I get the latest version of Thunderbird on Windows XP or Vista?' says that I need to install Thunderbird v 38.5 first. The link to download v 38.5.0 on that page takes me to a dos style directory which has many sub-directories (eg win32) which contain files of various names. There is no help or obvious way to download the version I need. Is the link broken, or what am I expected to do?

Solved: I was clicking the wrong link !!! The left hand link correctly chose version 35.0 and it installed OK (using run as administrator).
