a couple of days ago Firefox updated on my computer. Since then I have been into the options in order to try and change the settings for a few things. There is no apply / save button in the options pages. Also, the options tab stays open - it is there every time I open up my browser. The browser tab is there and right next to it is the options tab.

Chosen solution

Hi, there is no Save/Apply button because it isn't needed now - just close the Options tab to save.

For the other issue, please see - How to set the home page, and make sure that about:preferences (the Options URL) isn't in 'Home Page' - if it is, you can delete it - just leaving your preferred home page's URL or the Firefox start page (about:home).

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
