One of my filters does not work. It refers to a local folder for one of my e-mail addresses. I created there an Inbox, and an Outbox. I noticed that the symbol of the Inbox is not identical to those of the main accounts - it is a yellow sort of folder icon, in stead of a triangle with a green arrow. Looking at properties there is also a difference: Local it says at the end Postvak In, in the main Inbox (although one of them views also Postvak In).

Does it help and is it possible to rename the Inbox local from Postvak In to Inbox?

Thanks for your help !

re: I created there an Inbox, and an Outbox.

All pop mail accounts when created are auto created with an Inbox by default. All imap mail accounts subscribe to see the server Inbox.

In 'Local folders' mail account is the 'Outbox' folder (also auto created by Thunderbird) and it is the designated Outbox used by thunderbird for all mail accounts.

So you should not need to create those folders nor would I advise you to create folders that have the same name as the default created folders.

The reason they have the yellow folder icon is because these are folders created by you and not the default folders created by Thunderbird.

'Postvak In' (I believe) is dutch for Inbox.

Message filters auto run (if option selected) on mail account Inbox or in your case it would called 'Postvak In'.

Please state exactly what the filter contains and all the selections/options you made. Show an image of filter to assist.
