Hi I am trying to figure it out how to install 2 AddOn onto Tool menu bar. But it is still unsuccessful to do so. I do need some advice to install them onto Tool menu bar… (emoñe’ẽve)

I have a few questions regarding the auto-update policy of extensions installed via ExtensionSettings with the force_installed installation mode.

  1. Can the extension receive auto-updates just like extensions installed through normal means? (e.g. https://addons.mozilla.org)
  1. If so, will the user be notified when the extension requests new permissions?
