Norton Password Manager does not load properly since the last Mozilla update. Amazon does not either.

How do I prevent Bing and Edge from popping up instead of Firefox? I have Firefox as my preferred browser.

By providing a solution to this odd problem if possible.

To give a bit more detail:

On my Dell Precision 7540 laptop:

When using the Bing search engine vertical scrolling with the mouse wheel does not work in Bings 'search results list' unless the mouse pointer is over the vertical scroll bar when scrolling behaves correctly.

If one of the results in the 'search list' is selected, and the resultant site displayed, then vertical scrolling with the mouse wheel works correctly, exactly as expected.

This failure of vertical scrolling occurs only with Bing. Using other search engines vertical scrolling works correctly without problems. I am 99% sure that this erroneous behaviour is new.

On my Dell Latitude 6540 laptop: No scrolling problems. Everything works as it should.

The above leads me to believe that my scrolling problem is some kind of ‘settings’ issue. I have therefore thoroughly examined all ‘settings’ in both Bing and Firefox, including about:config, but alas without finding any solution.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might cause this issue and how it may be resolved? Thanking you all for your excellent service.

For the last few weeks I cannot use firefox. When I try to sign in to google it asks for my passkey (in my instance my fingerprint) but freezes and I need to restart my MacBook. Whatever I do it keep happening. This is my last chance for a solution before I defect to safari. I have tried on safari and there are no issues.

I think I need to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it. Firefox has stoped working. If I try to login to an account on line, it just spins or does nothing. Can you help?

WebGL2 works fine for several hours but then packs up for no apparent reason. Closing all instances of Firefox browser (not just one tab), and restarting fixes it until the next time. This shouldn’t be necessary, and is becoming annoying as it is too late to save anything. Happens accessing express.co.uk and FlightRadar24.

Hi, mi machine runs Ubuntu Mate 24.04, kernel 6.14.0.29 and Firefox 141.0.3 . Starting from the end of last year, 2024, I get a strange situation: in Google Sheets I can invoke certain functions only in the range 5:00 am to midday, actually I never tried earlier. I asked for help to Google and we realized that the malfunction doesn't appear with Google Chrome browser or Brave. So I'm here to ask for support, how can I fix this?

Amazon (either UK or US) has suddenly stopped loading properly on Firefox - there's no main top menu or header, instead there's a text list down the LHS (see screenshots). This first happened yesterday (14 Sept 2025) and it's still the same today. It works OK on MS Edge, so it looks like the've changed something which Firefox no longer recognises.

Lost all of my bookmarks. Error message reads: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I have been a Firefox user for years and years. I am having to leave because I cannot resolve this new issue. Can you help?

Using Firefox--When I try to access the daily set of images that comes in an email representing memories for this day which is pulled from my Onedrive Photos, all I get is a dark blank screen with a subtle pulsing wave as if it is searching.

I get the same thing when I go directly to my OneDrive Photos and try to pull up the daily photos there.

However, changing browsers and using Google Chrome--I can view the images in the memory email as well as those on my OneDrive directly

What does Chrome do that Firefox is not?

I recently had another browser related issue on a different problem trying to register online with Directv which would not complete with Firefox but when I used Google Chrome instead of Firefox, it worked.

This made me wonder if the above OneDrive image problem might be browser issue. Sure enough, it was.

When you click the link about someone not trusting Chinese or Russian CA's the page automatically switches the first row of suggested articles and much of the other info (like the thumbs up & down box) to Russian (and it may continue in Russian when you go to another page because it's switching the preferred language choice box).

It's giving the middle finger at those who need info about untrusted CA's and happen to click on it.

The question is from 10 yrs ago but the problem is current.

It can take many closing clicks to get rid of this warning and comes back again after a short while. What should I do? Tried searching with Malwarebytes itself and found no problems. Web search the same.

I am having trouble with Firefox that's very odd: the tabs keep overlapping and I am not able to click on links.

It keeps happening randomly and I have no idea why!

I've attached a screen grab so you can see what I mean.

When this happens I have to close down the tabs in question and then reopen them.

Never had this issue before.
