Using ICQ 7.7. ICQ launches no problem, but when I attemt to open contact IM window ICQ freezes.

No problem launching ICQ 7.7. But, every time I attempt to open a contact's chat IM window, the window will start to open, then fail, and ICQ completely freezes. I must then exit ICQ and re-launch. But always freezes in attempting to open chat window. Is it a Firefox issue or a PC security setting or what. I have no problem launching and using Firefox. Only if it related to ICQ failing
