Whats with the Nightly 8, worked Sunday, now just Force Closes on my Droid X GB rooted??
I was loving and updating everyday on the Nightly 8.0 build than Monday morning, downloaded the update, and app just keeps Force closing, took it off and reloaded first dowload before any updates and it works fine! but as soon as I install mondays update it force closes! My phone is a Droid X with Gingerbread upgrade and is rooted! but I have made NO changes or added any new software to phone....Any ideas?

Could be a Bug in the 8.0 nightly. That's one of the risks that come with using pre-release versions which are still being developed. Have you tried any of the more recent versions? Like yesterday's or Wednesday's version?
yes I have same problem.......hope it irons out I would have paid hefty money for the finished product, finally a browser that does what its supposed to....EVERYTHING RIGHT!
Firefox 8 is two versions down the road, there's like 14 more weeks of development time left before it's scheduled to be released. 6.0 is due in just under 2 weeks, then Firefox 7.0 6 weeks later, and then 6 weeks after that cones Firefox 8.0's turn.
BTW, Mozilla doesn't sell Firefox, it's free for everyone.
Yeah I know its free some of us would like to show our appreciation though. Hope the bug comes out
fixed my problem using a powerful ad blocker called AndBlock had it set on high turned it down updated nightly works fine doesnt seem right but thete it is
There were a couple days of broken Nightly builds. You should be able download the current nightly and run that.
