after last update, Firefox keeps seizing up, crashing, freezing. function buttons don't work during the fail, so I can't even close the app or close the page

Last update seems to have broken something. The app constantly seizes, freezes, acts like it's crashed, takes over the device OS such that back and minimize buttons don't work, tab access button non-functional, so I can't even close the page that's stuck
