Why is Firefox using 9GB of iCloud Backup?

Looking at my iCloud Backup details, Firefox is listed as using the most storage by far, at 9.17GB. Files, which includes all my documents, PDFs, Books, etc, uses 6.16GB, which may be expected. Chrome which I also use, is only taking up 2.39GB; Lightroom uses 2.14GB, for previews I guess, and no other app uses more than 335MB.

Why is Firefox using so much space, and can I lower this somehow?
